Some the results we speak of are tangible, some of them are less but just as important. You see if we can help just one student get a higher grade, complete a successful art project or feel committed and happy to arrive at school every day then that’s just as important for us as the quality of the art they produce as individuals or as a group.
So you could say the other thing we’re about is positive engagement.

HYPED MURALS - Onkaparinga Mural

HYPED MURALS - Leading the way....

The princess Margaret Park Mural has been highly successful for the City of Unley.

The site, which runs adjacent to a train line and is used by families almost every day was once a regular target for ongoing vandalism. HYPED Edutainment was contacted to deliver a site specific mural that could be appreciated by young people, park users and families that would help protect the buildings from further attack.

It seems that the artwork has been appreciated by most and the site has remained in good shape ever since.

GATEWAY to Marion

The Gateway to Marion Mural Project runs along the Tramline at the Marion Station, hence the name of the project.

The mural acts as a visual gateway to the City of Marion and it is over 100 metres in length. The artwork depicts the activities and themes associated with the area.

LARGS BAY RSL MURAL

The Largs Bay RSl Mural and Largs North Train Station Refurbishment Projects were extremely successful and gained critical acclaim for the positive impact they had on the community.

A joint venture between the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and Trans Adelaide resulted in a project at the Largs North Railway Station to minimise graffiti in this high public traffic area. This project is an excellent example of how an holistic approach can address community safety issues including graffiti vandalism, personal safety concerns and maintenance, through improving the design of public areas.

The project began with a mural at the western end of the station. Featuring an aquatic theme the mural was designed and painted by students from Largs Primary School. This initial project highlighted issues with the adjacent dimly lit laneway known as Upton Avenue. The side wall of the Largs North RSL Hall which abuts the laneway provided an excellent canvas for the creation of a 41 metre long mural depicting the contribution made to the armed services in wartime by the Lefevre Peninsula community.

The second mural was created by accomplished aerosol artist Paul Alexander who was ably assisted by students from Lefevre High School. HYPED Edutainment working with TransAdelaide, the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and the Largs Bay RSL, created and implemented a large scale mural complimented by onsite interpretive signage that celebrated the many stories of the members from the Largs Bay RSL. This innovative project featured dimensional elements within the painting and was opened by the South Australian Attorney General Hon. Michael Atkinson in 2006.

WALL OF RESPECT - Eternal Flame Project

The WALL OF RESPECT is dedicated to all the men and women who have dedicated their lives to the Armed Forces.

The Murals depict the ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE and HUMANITARIAN cores.

The Artwork was created in all aerosol on custome prepared and installed sign boards across a high traffic site that sits opposite a park and sculpture featurinf the Eternal Flame. The project was offically oped on ANZAC Day 2005 with some 5000 RSL, Servicemen and women and their families in attendance.
